Trailer orders at Wabash National Corp. increased 12% in July over the previous month, to 16,976, according to Bear Stearns.

This falls short of orders that averaged 23,000 between January and April, however. Bear Stearns says seasonal factors may have contributed. Total trailer builds were 950 per day in July, compared to 994/day in June and 922/day in May.
