Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc. has enhanced its Prophesy ShipperSeries transportation management system to produce more efficient round-trip routes by better management of drops, pickups and back haul opportunities, according to the developer.
Users can now design cost-effective routes with multiple drops in round trip fashion within minutes, the software company said. The faster production of routes allows users to make quicker changes. Factors such as geography, state tariff differences and cost-per-mile are considered and backhauls are now automatically factored into the load optimization process.
