Truckload giant J. B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. has been awarded a contract to provide dedicated transportation services to Limited Logistics Services, a subsidiary of clothing retailer The Limited Inc.

J. B. Hunt will provide outbound transportation services from The Limited’s seven distribution centers and enable the streamlining of all inbound moves. Limited Logistics Services provides supply chain management and distribution services to more than 5,300 retail stores nationwide, servicing nine retail brands owned or partially owned and operated by The Limited.

John Roberts, president of J. B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services, said his company is focused on implementing a customized transportation solution that will optimize the Limited’s distribution network to achieve both on-time delivery and overall cost savings.
