The product, whose name has not yet been made public, will exploit the Postal Service’s ability to reach all U.S. homes in a more timely and efficient manner than anyone else. It is expected to be used largely by companies selling on the internet. FedEx has been testing the delivery service with at least two companies and has offered it to others.
