Velvac Inc. of New Berlin, WI, announced that it has expanded its air brake product offerings to include a new line of heavy-duty manual slack adjusters designed to replace many of the most popular models currently in the marketplace.

According to Velvac, slack adjusters are critical components in a truck’s air brake system that compensate for brake wear. The company’s new line features bronze bushings and carry a 22,000 in./lb. rating in accordance with SAE J1461. The manual slacks are available in a wide selection of spline and drilling configurations to fit numerous truck applications.
