Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Limited is buying Montreal, Quebec-based AssurConseil, a Canadian insurance broker with both general and trucking insurance expertise.
Hub said the 39-employee AssurConseil firm should add some US$4.9 million to its revenue base and will become part of Hub International Quebec Limitee. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AssurConseil principals who will be joining HUB Quebec include Mr. Pierre Charron, Christian Chartier, Pierre Simoneau, Louis-Claude Trudel, Pierre Paquette and Robert Lorange.
