Due in part to the recent addition of a comprehensive mobile communications offering, Prophesy Transportation Solutions, Inc., reported that 2004 fourth quarter sales of the company’s DispatchSeries solution increased 37% over sales in the same period of 2003. Year-over-year, Prophesy reported a 20% total increase in sales.
“We are committed to ongoing strategic investments which further strengthen and enhance our Enterprise DispatchSeries software,” said Prophesy vice president, William Ashburn. In October 2004, the company introduced TrackerDispatch, a mobile communications and tracking system designed to enable dispatchers to dynamically exchange location and itinerary information with drivers and account for the daily operations of every vehicle in their fleet in real-time. The system works with Java/GPS-enabled Nextel phones.
