The Evans Network of Companies announced it has opened a trucking terminal inside the Cavalier Industrial Park in Chesapeake, VA. The state-of-the-art facility is fully fenced with a self propelled gated yard with access via ID card 24 hours a day. The terminal also features an on-site repair shop available to all vendors of Evans.

The Evans Network of Companies is a logistics partner with strategically located terminals across the country. The network, which provides transportation services in the intermodal, truckload and flatbed markets, encompasses six divisions: West Motor Freight, All Points Transport Corp., Hale Intermodal Trucking, Century Express, Evans Delivery Company and DM Transport Management Services.

Cavalier Industrial Park was selected due to its easy access to Interstate 64, which connects to all other major highways in the area. It also offers access to all ports, railheads and terminals in the greater Hampton Roads area.

The Chesapeake, VA, facility will be operated by Kaje Enterprises, agents for the Evans Network since 2004. In addition to owners Karen and Casey Cameron, Kaje Enterprises has seven employees and contracts with 55 owner-operators.

Albert "Bert" Evans, Jr., president and CEO of the Evans Network, said, "Kaje Enterprises is a perfect example of what agents can achieve when they engage in our network. We are so proud to work with Karen and Casey Cameron and all of the other employees here."
