The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has hired Peter W. Christoffersen as gm, commercial tire systems.
Christoffersen, a 23-year veteran in the trucking business, will report directly to vp Ted J. Fick. Prior to joining Goodyear, Christoffersen was market development manager for Paccar Parts, a division of Paccar Inc. He worked with Paccar since 1979, serving in various roles, including district parts manager, sales program manager, director of inventory management, and operations manager for Kenworth Truck Australia.
