Tripmaster Corp., a supplier of onboard electronic recorders and support software, has announced that its system complies with the new DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. According to Joel Beal, Tripmaster senior v.p., the company was actually able to offer a Tripmaster Office 2005 service pack containing revised electronic DOT log capabilities to their customers before the new reg took effect.

Tripmaster had the HOS changes available for customers two weeks before the October 1, 2005 compliance deadline, Beal noted. “The required modifications were aggressive, but we employ competent personnel who are extremely well-versed in hours of service regulations,” he said. The company worked with FMCSA throughout the rulemaking process, hosting a FMCSA meeting in Arlington and participating in numerous consultations.
