Continental Tire North America has added the HDL2 DL, over-the-highway long haul drive tire, in four sizes to its lineup. Available in 11R22.5, 275/80R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5, the tire's closed shoulder tread design provides traction in both wet and dry road conditions and resists irregular wear, Continental said. Also featured is a patented groove that reduces stone retention and casing penetration. www.continentaltire.com

GITI Tire USA has released the GT876, a wide-base, all-position radial designed for heavy front axles. The special cut-and-chip compound provides tread-tearing resistance and the tire includes an aggressive tread design for traction, the company said. With deep tread depth for extended use, the tire is designed for service in on/off-highway and heavy-haul applications. It is available in 385/65R22.5 18PR with tread depth of 23/32 in.; 425/65R22.5 20PR with 24/32 in. depth and 445/65R22.5 20PR with a tread depth of 24/32 in. www.gititire.com
