• GeoLogic gets new CEO

    John Lewis has been named president and CEO of GeoLogic Solutions Inc., the transportation wireless services company acquired in September by the investment firm Platinum Equity from Aether Systems.

    John Lewis has been named president and CEO of GeoLogic Solutions Inc., the transportation wireless services company acquired in September by the investment firm Platinum Equity from Aether Systems.

    GeoLogic offers mobile communications and tracking products, including MobileMax, a fleet management system with dual-mode wireless communications, and TrailerMax, an untethered trailer tracking system.

    Lewis had been serving since 2001 as CFO of XATA Corp., a developer of on-board computers and fleet management systems. Previously he’d held top executive posts at two manufacturing companies in the Minneapolis area.
