The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) has launched a new web site, WorkTrucks.com (www.worktrucks.com), designed to serve as an online resource. NTEA says the B2B site will serve up news and information about the truck-equipment industry and will enable participants to network, conduct business and discuss issues around-the-clock.
"WorkTrucks.com allows the NTEA to expand its web presence to the global commercial truck and transportation equipment industry," said NTEA executive director Jim Carney. "It also brings NTEA members added value to help them master their day-to-day challenges."
The association is no web newbie. It launched NTEA.com, which WorkTrucks.com replaces, back in 1997. Features of WorkTrucks.com include an online marketplace, a career development section, technical services access, government affairs information, personalized e-mail and group discounts, and a members-only community.
NTEA members have full access to all areas of the site. Nonmembers can access resources and information on the site by becoming a site subscriber for $89 per year. Site visitors can access industry news and information about the association and its members.
