New Penn expands Pennsylvania terminal

New Penn Motor Express has completed renovation and expansion of its terminal in Reading, PA. The expanded facility has 68 dock doors and over 17,500 sq -ft. of dock space, increasing New Penn's freight-handling capacity by more than 60%. The project also involved renovating and expanding office and driver facilities, which now occupy 5,000 sq. ft. There is also a 4,200-sq.-ft. maintenance facility
New Penn Motor Express has completed renovation and expansion of its terminal in Reading, PA. The expanded facility has 68 dock doors and over 17,500 sq -ft. of dock space, increasing New Penn's freight-handling capacity by more than 60%.

The project also involved renovating and expanding office and driver facilities, which now occupy 5,000 sq. ft. There is also a 4,200-sq.-ft. maintenance facility on the premises.

New Penn acquired eight acres to support the expansion and to provide for additional equipment and employee parking.
