Global supply chain systems provider EXE Technologies and DHL Worldwide Express have formed an alliance to integrate EXE's Exceed Fulfill supply chain software system into DHL's global logistics infrastructure.

DHL said the alliance was formed to provide integrated, time-critical logistics solutions for a growing number of high-tech customers. EXE's system will allow DHL to have real-time tracking and tracing options worldwide via the Internet via a single information technology platform.

Dallas-based EXE added that its system would run multiple warehouse management systems over a single Oracle database using the Java2E Internet language. The system will officially go on line in the second quarter of this year.
