Tenneco Automotive has unveiled a new line of shock absorbers for heavy-duty truck cabs, which the company says will provide truck drivers with a smoother ride.

Tenneco's Monroe-brand Gas-Magnum Cab Shocks feature new tubing and valve technology for Class 7 and 8 truck cab suspensions to provide a smoother, self-adjusting ride for truck cabs over a variety of road conditions.

Each nitrogen-charged Gas-Magnum shock is equipped with Monroe's Positive Sensitive Damping (PSD) groove tube design to isolate the truck cab from frame-absorbed road shock and vibration. Tenneco said the new shocks were designed in part to improve driver comfort and minimize ride-related fatigue.
