Skinner Transfer signs with Aether
Skinner Transfer Corp., a Wisconsin-based truckload carrier, has become the latest customer of Maryland-based Aether Systems wireless communication system, called MobileMax2.
Skinner, which operates a fleet of 150 trucks, said it plans to install the MobileMax2 system on 100 vehicles by the end of this year and complete installations on its entire fleet next year.
"In order to expand our business and remain competitive in today's marketplace, we are always seeking ways to drive operational efficiencies and improve productivity," said Steve Skinner, vp-operations for Skinner Transfer. "We think MobileMax2 gives our business that competitive edge."
