Truckload carrier USF Glen Moore is the latest trucking firm to sign up for Atlanta-based Manhattan Associates’ Carrier Management system to help it boost profitability.

USF Glen Moore, part of YRC Regional Transportation, a subsidiary of Yellow Roadway Corporation, is going to use the “Profitability Suite” of Manhattan Associates’ carrier program to help determine the long-term value of each lane and customer in its network.

The fleet also plans to use the system to improve productivity across its operations as well as enhance the information flow throughout its network organization.

Manhattan Associates’ said the components of its Profitability Suite – including Profit Analyzer, Network Dashboard and Bid Response – should help USF Glen Moore effectively respond to its shippers' complex bid requests to maintain network balance and achieve maximum profitability.

“This solution will provide a more thorough analysis of what we do and will improve decision making to help us better service our customers,” said Matthew Stoll, president of USF Glen Moore. “Carriers face a constantly changing economy -- they must accommodate rising fuel prices and comply with new hours of service regulations while continuing to attract and retain the best driver resources. This solution should help us meet these challenges, optimize network operations, increase profitability and improve customer satisfaction.”
