Transportation conglomerate Corporate Vision has wrapped up its acquisition of Stony's Trucking, which is also the parent of B-Right Trucking and B-Right Intermodal Transportation. Stony's, with operating revenues in excess of $40 million, has been family owned and operated for more than 50 years.

B-Right Trucking is a non-asset based common and contract carrier offering freight brokerage service. It operates predominately throughout the Midwest, South, and Southwest. Its sister company, B-Right Intermodal, is a national transporter of ocean containers, rail containers and privately owned equipment.

Charleston, S.C.-based Corporate Vision will operate Stony's via its new operating subsidiary, CV Transportation. Over the upcoming weeks, CV Transportation said it plans to launch a new transportation system aimed at "revolutionizing" the means and cost of freight transportation in specific niche markets, starting with the waste-hauling sector.
