Dana Corp. announced today that it has entered into a long-term supply agreement with Paccar Inc., in which Dana’s Commercial Vehicle Systems Operations will supply steer axles, drive axes, brakes, driveshafts and steering shafts as standard equipment on Paccar’s Kenworth and Peterbilt Class 6, 7, and 8 commercial vehicles.

“This reflects the industry trend toward closer cooperation between OEMs and component suppliers to provide enhancements in improving vehicle performance,” said Gary Moore, senior vp, Paccar. “The benefits to customers in providing an integrated drivetrain solution are key elements in this strategic alliance.”

All Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles feature a complete Roadranger drivetrain system as standard equipment, Dana said.
