• FCCC redesigns MT-45 chassis

    Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) has announced a redesign of its MT-45 walk-in van diesel chassis. The result is the new MT-45 Straight Rail (SR) diesel chassis.

    Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) has announced a redesign of its MT-45 walk-in van diesel chassis. The result is the new MT-45 Straight Rail diesel chassis.

    According to Dean Schaper, FCCC director of sales and marketing, the MT-45 SR’s numerous improvements came as a direct result of customer input.

    The MT-45 SR is a medium-duty chassis with a gross vehicle weight rating of between 14,140 and 19,000 lb. It can accept bodies of up to 22 ft. in load length and volumes of up to 950 cu. ft. Its payload capacity is up to 10,000 lbs.
