• Jevic receives 9/11 award from Salvation Army

    The Salvation Army of Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware has recognized Jevic Transportation for its support of disaster relief efforts in New York City following the Sept. 11 attacks. Jevic donated the use of 1,000 tractor-trailers to transfer more than 2.5 million pounds of goods to New York from three Salvation Army warehouses in Pennsylvania to help the relief efforts.     The Salvation Army of Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware has recognized Jevic Transportation for its support of disaster relief efforts in New York City following the Sept. 11 attacks.

    Jevic donated the use of 1,000 tractor-trailers to transfer more than 2.5 million pounds of goods to New York from three Salvation Army warehouses in Pennsylvania to help the relief efforts. Jevic drivers made 100 deliveries of donated food to Ground Zero. The Salvation Army added that Delanco, NJ-based Jevic also warehoused Salvation Army materials at their depot and in their trucks throughout those relief efforts.
