Logistics.com Inc. CEO John Lanigan was presented the Robert D. Pashek Award by Pennsylvania State University at the recent R. Hadly Waters Logistics and Transportation Symposium. The award is given annually to a logistics professional who has made significant contributions to the practice and development of the logistics and transportation disciplines.

“Lanigan exemplifies the spirit of professionalism and innovation brought to the logistics industry by Dr. Pashek,” said Dr. Robert Novack, research affiliate of the Center of Logistics Research and associate professor of business logistics, Smeal College of Business Administration, Penn State.

The award is named for the late Robert D. Pashek, associate dean emeritus of the Smeal College of Business Administration and a leader in the development of logistics studies at the university.
