Spice’s Life driveshafts, steering shafts, steer axles, and drive axles are now standard equipment on the new International 4000 Series medium-duty truck, unveiled last week in Las Vegas, Nev.

International’s 4000 Series line will incorporate Spicer Life 70, 100, and 140 series assemblies. The vehicles will also include Spicer I-series steer axles, 15,000-to-26,000-pound single drive axles, and 40,000-pound tandem drive axles into this new series of medium-duty vehicles.

Spicer driveshafts, drive axles, and steer axles are being manufactured at Dana’s Hilliard, Ohio, facility. Steering shafts will be made at the Lima, Ohio, plant. Both locations provide convenient access to International’s Springfield, Ohio, facility, where initial production is planned.

International’s 4000 series also features a complete Roadranger drivetrain system provided by the Eaton Corp.
