Great Dane Unveils New Flatbed Line

LOUISVILLE, KY – Great Dane introduced a new line of flatbed trailers at the Mid-American Trucking Show. Included in the Freedom line are straight-frame and drop-deck platforms made from a combination of steel and aluminum.

The trailers are designed to be easily modified with add-ons such as toolboxes, tire carriers, bulkheads, winches and straps, according to Great Dane. A winch track is built-in and a modular design simplifies maintenance.

The flatbeds, which are 102 in. wide, are available with crossmember spacing at 12- or 14-in. intervals. The drop deck comes standard with a height of 40 in.
