OmniTracs Link for Canadian Fleet Manager

The transportation management system Fleet Manager Professional now offers seamless integration with the OmniTracs wireless communications system operated by Qualcomm Corp.’s Canadian service provider, Cancom Tracking.

Developer TransPlus Systems Corp. says its new dispatch and brokerage management package can access vehicle operational and location information directly over the OmniTracs wireless network, automatically updating load status, estimated times of arrival and vehicle locations. It also now supports two-way messaging over the wireless network without leaving the dispatch screen.
