M-B walk-in power
Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. is now offering the Mercedes-Benz MBE900 engine for its walk-in vans. The 4-cyl., 4.3-liter engine, which is standard on the MT-45 model, is available in horsepower ratings of 170 at 2,300 rpm and 190 at 2,300 rpm.
In the first quarter of 2003, the 4-cyl. MBE900 will also be offered on the MT-55 walk-in van chassis, also in 170- and 190-hp. versions.
The MBE900 carries a warranty of 3 yr./150,000 mi. for the walk-in van applications.
