Freightliner Appoints Manufacturing Chief

Alan Mayne has been named general manager of manufacturing operations for Freightliner LLC. Mayne will be responsible for top manufacturing management at all of the company’s truck plants and parts businesses.

Mayne has over 25 years experience in commercial vehicle manufacturing. He comes to Freightliner from a competing manufacturer, where he spent 17 years in plant management and business unit operations.
