Volvo-UAW tentative agreement fall apart

UAW rejects agreements with Volvo Trucks North America

Volvo Trucks North America, Inc. (VTNA) today announced the rejection of two of three tentative labor agreements covering approximately 2,800 members of United Auto Workers Local #2069 at the OEM’s New River Valley plant.

The plant will continue to operate under the terms of agreements that expired on Feb. 1, 2005 as negotiations on new contracts continue, according to VTNA.
