Executive changes at FleetPride

Maurice "Pete" Painter is joining national aftermarket parts distributor FleetPride as vp-gm of the firm's Southeast Region, replacing Anthony "Bill" Cavalle, who has resigned. Maurice "Pete" Painter is joining national aftermarket parts distributor FleetPride as vp-gm of the firm's Southeast Region, replacing Anthony "Bill" Cavalle, who has resigned.

Painter, formerly vp-aftermarket sales for Federal Mogul Corp., has held a number of executive positions in the automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket. Cavalle, who joined FleetPride in 1998, is departing to start his own business in the Dallas area.

Deerfield, IL-based FleetPride has been undergoing major changes in the last few months. The company, which operates more than 160 locations in 33 states, is relocating its corporate headquarters from Deerfield, IL, to Houston. It has also appointed several new executives, adding a new vp-sales in January and a new CIO in December of last year.
