    The National Cargo Security Council (NCSC) will host aconference on supply chain security June 13-15 in Scottsdale, AZ. The conference will be focused on ways to prevent freight containers of any sort from being turned into terrorist weapons.

    The conference will bring together security experts from major shippers, government policy makers, and security system providers.

    Preventing cargo containers from being turned into weapons of mass destruction is one of the conference's key topics. In addition, there will be 13 workshops and 55 presentations on cargo security issues. Speakers will represent a wide variety of organizations, from the FBI and Department of Transportation to IBM, Target, and trucking companies Swift Transportation and CNF.
