Shippers can automate transactions with their core carriers through NTE TransTrade, an online private trading community developed by NTE Inc. of Downers Grove, IL.
Based on a shippers routing guide and business rule, the web-based system will automate load tendering and procurement, eliminating phone calls, faxes and other manual processes, according to NTE. TransTrade also provides shippers with metrics-based measurement capabilities, allowing them to track on-time deliveries, damage claims, billing and customer satisfaction. Shippers using the private TransTrade can also choose to place loads on NTE's open public exchange service.
