Users can access Fuel Advice from a web browser, enter origin and destination, and receive a route that shows where to buy fuel and how much fuel to buy for the lowest cost.

The route and solution can be sent to the driver via a mobile device or an e-mail. In addition to the browser access, Fuel Advice can be accessed through the user’s PC, a direct interface to their dispatch system, mobile communications to the cab, or a wireless handheld device.

The fuel optimization is based on current fuel prices at over 8,000 locations supplied by Oil Price Information Service.
