Menlo Logistics, based in Redwood City, CA, has released the Menlo Logistics Management Solution (Menlo LMS), a fully integrated software system for end-to-end management of global supply chain operations developed in partnership with Baan, a software supplier based in the Netherlands.

Menlo LMS is designed to provide seamless integration of transportation management and supply chain management, the company said. It is billed as a single-source solution that can replace the four or five systems that might have been previously required for large and complex logistics operations in a company’s global supply chain.

The system’s single “repository” for transactions gives Menlo customers a global event management and reporting system with one source for information, the company said. This integration enables greater supply chain visibility, faster project implementation and increased collaboration with partners, said Menlo.
