The ArvinMeritor board of directors has appointed Carsten Reinhardt senior vp & COO. In addition, Tim Bowes was elected vp & president of the Industrial division and Joe Mejaly was named vp & president of the Aftermarket & Trailer division. Reinhardt was president of the company's Commercial Vehicle Systems business. As COO, he will be responsible for the overall management of ArvinMeritor's Commercial, Truck, Industrial and Aftermarket & Trailer business segments.

David D. Renz, vp-sales and marketing for Eaton Corp.'s Vehicle Group, has retired after 32 years with the company. Renz began his career with the Transmission Div. in Kalamazoo, MI, in 1977.
