Duluth, GA-based regional LTL carrier Saia Motor Freight is expanding its Texas service network via a new terminal located in Garland, outside the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

“The Dallas-Ft. Worth area is a growing market and a major connection point for us,” said Rick O'Dell, Saia’s president & CEO. “This expansion will allow us to continue our commitment to be a best-in-class carrier for our customers in the Texas market.”

O’Dell said that this is the second terminal for Saia – a subsidiary of Kansas City, MO-based trucking conglomerate SCS Transportation – in the Garland area and offers a “strategic location” that provides “an expanded network of terminals across the state and the region, allowing for earlier pickup and deliveries for customers.”
