New Truck Deliveries Still Dropping for Mack

Mack Trucks Inc. says that through April of this year, new truck deliveries totaled 8,812 vehicles, down 35% from the 13,603 units delivered during the same period last year. Mack president & CEO Michel Gigou noted however that sales in Latin America – particularly in Venezuela – have been stronger than expected.

“The combination of economic stability in Venezuela and the great strides made by our subsidiary have allowed us to increase sales volume there by 94%,” he said.
