PennDOT names new deputy secretary

The Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation (PennDOT) has officially named Richard Hogg deputy secretary for highway administration

The Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation (PennDOT) has officially named Richard Hogg deputy secretary for highway administration. He had been serving as that department’s acting deputy secretary since March.

Hogg, a licensed engineer and 24-year employee of the agency, previously served as the executive for PennDOT’s District 10 during which time that district’s highway maintenance unit became the first in the U.S. to achieve International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 status for environmental management and its construction unit achieved ISO 9001 status for project quality control.
