Pacer International Inc. said its third-quarter revenue and incomes grew when compared to the same period last year.

"We are pleased with both our financial performance and our strong cash flow for the quarter and are encouraged by the momentum of our core operations," said CEO Don Orris.

Net revenues increased 9.2% to $87.7 million and income from operations increased 79.8% to $20.5 million. Net income increased to $8.2 million from $1.0 million in the third quarter of last year.
