XATA Corp. has released two driver-log and fuel-tax applications for Qualcomm's MVPc onboard computer and wireless communications interface. Part of the XataNet family, the new applications automatically maintain driver logs and calculate fuel taxes.

The MVPc uses the Windows CE operating system, allowing it to run both custom and third-party applications, as well as provide driver access to Qualcomm's OmniTRACS wireless communications service.
