Overnite Transport Co., Hino Diesel Trucks (USA) and USFreightways Corp. relaunched their respective websites yesterday in order to make them more user-friendly. Overnite’s relaunch was aimed at increasing online invoice transactions, Hino’s was done to inform customers about its product line, and USFreightways did a makeover on its secure and customer-focused service sites.

Overnite said its freight customers now can gain access to their invoices in a secure online environment. Overnite’s website also provides online shipping solutions and direct access to the company’s most-utilized e-commerce applications, bringing its selection of shipper-friendly functions together through one interface.

Through the MyOvernite section, shippers now can review invoices online, as well as receive enhanced detailed shipment-tracking information and review their personalized reports, the carrier added.

Senior vp Ted J. Fick said Hino’s site provides customers and prospects with the latest in company news, as well as information on its product line and dealer network. It also links to Hino's parent company, Hino Motors LTD of Japan, a worldwide manufacturer of trucks, buses and engines.

“Our corporate culture is one of quality,” said Fick. “Feedback from our customers helps us build better trucks and provide excellent service after the sale.”

USFreightways’ website features fresh new graphics and enhanced Web-enabled technology. Both the public site and the secure, customer-focused services site, USF Net, have been renovated, adding features and providing better functionality.

Users of the public site can track shipments, obtain Accu-Rate freight estimates and login to USF Net right on the home page.
