General Mills honors Stevens Transport—again

General Mills has recognized Dallas-based Steven’s Transport, Inc. by awarding the carrier its annual “Temperature Controlled Carrier of the Year” award for the third time.

Selection criteria for the award include overall dedication to customer service, operational excellence and the ability to offer creative solutions to supply chain opportunities. Todd Aaron, Stevens vice chairman, accepted the award on behalf of the fleet.

“The outstanding service that has been provided by Stevens Transport, throughout General Mills’ 2007 fiscal year, helped alleviate much of the concern that was felt due to the difficulties seen throughout 2006”, said Jeff Bradley, director of logistics for General Mills.
