New aluminum hubs from Webb Wheel

Webb Wheel Products of Cullman, AL, has introduced two new aluminum hubs for R-series drive axles. The new Platinum hubs, part number 4653 with ¾-inch drive studs and part number 4656 with 5/8-inch drive studs, each weigh 21 lbs. and were designed for short R-series axle applications. Webb Wheel Products of Cullman, AL, has introduced two new aluminum hubs for R-series drive axles.

The new Platinum hubs, part number 4653 with ¾-inch drive studs and part number 4656 with 5/8-inch drive studs, each weigh 21 lbs. and were designed for short R-series axle applications. Webb has previously introduced aluminum hubs for TN and P series trailer axles.

Webb said its new aluminum hubs, combined with Webb's new Platinum drums, are among the lightest wheel-end assemblies in the industry, saving up to 16 lbs. per axle.
