Wright Express has recently been honored by the state of Maine with the Pro Patria Award for supporting employees serving as National Guard members and Reservists on active duty, and for its support of children and families in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The company created more than 60 care packages for the soldiers, which included food, books, and CDs. Additionally, employees gave support to the families of those deployed; donated over 40 packages of toys, blankets, clothes, food and books to an orphanage in Afghanistan, sent over 300 teddy bears to injured children, and raised money for humanitarian aide.

“Wright Express is passionate in its support of the men and women of the National Guard and the Reservists who are serving our country,” said Michael Dubyak, Wright Express president & CEO.
