In addition to software training and support, the McLeod Software users' conference later this month will feature an executive leadership track offering information on topics such as driver retention programs, truckload pricing, succession planning, fuel management, optimization and improving sales performance.

Fred C. Burns Jr., the incoming chairman of the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) and president of Burns Motor Freight Inc., will also deliver the conference's keynote address. Currently chairman of ATA's Insurance Task Force, Burns will talk about tort reform and its potential impact on fleet insurance costs.

The McLeod users' conference will be held Sept. 24-27 in Birmingham, AL.
