Overnite speeds up Omaha service

Overnite Transportation Co. said it has implemented a series of faster transit times affecting traffic originating from Omaha. The new schedules, now in effect, allow Omaha shipments to be delivered to wide areas of major cities on the East Coast in three days, the carrier said. In all, Overnite said it has reduced transit times from Omaha to 47 locations in 20 states and the District of Columbia.
