A new version of Prophesy Transportation Solutions' driver log auditing software, LogPlus V.7, will automatically handle the switch to new hours-of-service rules, according to the company.
The software is designed to use current HOS rules for processing logs until the new rules take effect on Jan. 4, 2004. At that point, LogPlus will make a seamless transition to the new standards, allowing fleets to remain DOT compliant both before and after the switch.
The program also includes with state-approved mileage and routing database, allowing automatic checks of reported log miles for speeding violations. It also cross-references toll and fuel receipts for log verification.
