Trucking software provider TMW Systems Inc. has been certified as a solution provider for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) e-Manifest Program.
In conjunction with the CBP certification, TMW has introduced an ACE integration tool for its TMWSuite enterprise management platform. TMW’s ACE solution not only transmits the shipment information required by ACE, but also enables integrated message control within TMWSuite. The system automatically creates ACE documents with the appropriate data and then routes them to CBP for seamless integration, TMW said.
“By using TMW’s ACE integration tool, we expect to decrease the amount of time needed to complete the reporting for each U.S.-bound shipment from 15 minutes to less than a minute,” said David Rienstra, systems administrator for Kriska—a TMW customer. “Multiply that by the hundreds of cross-border loads that we process each week, and the time savings are enormous.”
