Terion Adds Trailer Tracking Feature

Dec. 3, 2004
Terion FleetView 3 has geofencing feature

Terion has added a geofencing feature to its FleetView 3 trailer management system that allows managers to specify a secure area for the trailer.

Dubbed Active Geofencing, it alerts the fleet manager via email or text messaging on a cell phone if a trailer passes a landmark, or if the trailer is open or unloaded outside a defined area.
