NewRoads, a business process outsourcer of fulfillment and customer care services, today announced it has acquired APL Direct Logistics, the consumer direct fulfillment division of APL Logistics.

The acquisition of APL Direct Logistics and its warehouse complex expands NewRoads' national presence and provides additional logistics options to reduce clients' shipping and distribution costs.

NewRoads assumes the lease and management of APL Direct Logistics' 300,000-sq.-ft. facility in Hebron, KY, and will take over the contracts of existing clients being serviced by the group. Financial terms of the sale or details regarding clients were not released.
